Immune Boosting Qigong Video

An invigorating Qigong exercise for strengthening the lungs and boosting the immune system as demonstrated by my Qigong teacher Master Liu He, from Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School.

  1. Gather pure QI from the Universe above the head, swirling the arms once, and bring it into the top of the head and down to the lower abdomen. Inhale arms lift. Exhale arms descend. - 5 times

  2. Activate the Lung Qi by making light fists and cup Qi into the Lung-1 Acupoint on the chest below the clavicle. Breathe in through the nose and exhale through the mouth while the arms swing upwards and backwards. - 39 times

  3. Shaking the body to activate the whole body’s Qi.

  4. Taking a Qi shower. Gather Qi in front of the body, bring it up to the head, bring the Qi down over the head, under the armpits, down the back, up the front of the body, crossing the arms, turning the hands and forming a lotus. - 7 times

  5. Bend the body forward crossing the arms, inhale and raise up and spread arms while exhaling the “Ahhh” sound. This gives the feeling of opening the chest and lungs. Gather the pure Metal sky Qi and bring it into the lungs.

  6. Inhale performing the lung sound “ZZZZ” while tapping on LU-1 Acupoint. Then exhale and cough to release any negative Qi in the lungs. - 3 times

  7. Bring your feet together, gather Qi above the head, and bring it down into the body and massage the lower abdomen
